Jr. Accountant & Operations Officer

About the Role

Medicals International is seeking a Jr. Accountant & Operations Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a detail-oriented individual eager to develop their accounting skills within a dynamic work environment. The role involves assisting the finance and administration team with daily accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

The Jr. Accountant & Operations Officer will be responsible for a range of financial and operational duties, including:

• Reviewing and verifying all daily transactions, ensuring supporting documents such as invoices and receipts are attached before data entry.
• Inputting all daily transactions, including expenses, bank deposits, transfers, purchases, and their respective shipping charges, into the relevant software.
• Organizing and filing all accounting documents and related attachments.
• Reviewing, verifying, and correcting monthly purchases as needed.
• Posting all transactions between software modules.
• Reconciling all monetary accounts, including banks, petty cash, and transitory collections.

Reporting and Operational Support

In addition to core accounting functions, this role includes operational support and reporting duties:

• Preparing and submitting daily reports on activities and achievements to the supervisor.
• Providing recommendations on resource usage and disbursements.
• Abiding by and actively participating in Medicals International's Quality Management System, which adheres to ISO 9001:2008 standards.
• Performing any other functions relevant to the overall MI Accounting department as assigned by the supervisor.
