About the Role

Amazon is expanding its Learning team within Amazon Operations and is seeking a Learning Specialist AMZL Transportation Field L&D. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and focuses on enhancing the long-term capabilities of assigned areas within the Last Mile operations.

Role Overview

The Learning Specialist works directly with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates to continuously improve operational effectiveness through targeted learning initiatives. This role is integral to developing talent and ensuring high performance across the Last Mile network, contributing to the overall success of Amazon Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all standard trainer tasks as outlined on the Trainer Standard Work Checklist.
Deliver network standard technical training to associates.
Partner with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas.
Directly coach associates to enhance job performance.
Manage training compliance to ensure accurate training records are maintained.
Measure Associate performance across key metrics including Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
Apply learning tools and methodologies to improve operational metrics.
Improve associates' job-related skills through continuous development.
Develop, maintain, and apply learning tools such as methods, checklists, and skill-building agreements to foster associate development.
Assist in driving the successful execution of both peak and non-peak training plans.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrating comfort in speaking to groups as well as engaging in one-on-one discussions. The ability to effectively give and receive feedback is essential. This role requires a professional who can follow up on tasks, meet time commitments and deadlines, and is goal-oriented, providing valuable insight to area managers. A strong commitment to the success of others, a customer-obsessed mindset, and a positive, proactive demeanor are key attributes, with energy derived from collaborative work.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Riyadh, within Amazon's Last Mile Transportation Field L&D team. The role involves working closely with operational teams in a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and associate development.
