Opportunity: Senior Legal Counsel at Theeblawyers

Theeblawyers is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our dedicated team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers a pivotal role in providing expert legal guidance and upholding the highest standards of legal practice within a dynamic environment.

About the Role

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for delivering comprehensive legal consultations, meticulously drafting and reviewing contracts, and preparing precise legal memoranda and regulations. This role is essential for ensuring the protection of client interests and maintaining strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations prevalent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a diverse range of commercial and civil issues.
• Draft and review various types of contracts and legal agreements.
• Prepare legal memoranda, regulations, and statements of claim with a high degree of professionalism.
• Offer informed legal opinions, conduct thorough risk analyses, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Ensure continuous compliance with Saudi laws and regulations, providing necessary legal support.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to achieve optimal legal outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or Sharia is required; postgraduate studies are preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in advocacy and legal consultancy, specifically gained within law firms or companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated excellent experience in drafting and reviewing commercial and civil contracts and agreements.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• High capability in preparing legal memoranda, regulations, and statements of claim.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi laws, regulations, and litigation procedures before various judicial bodies.
• Advanced skills in legal analysis, legal drafting, and the formulation of legal opinions.
• Proficiency in computer usage and legal software, coupled with strong report preparation skills.
• Full fluency in English, both spoken and written.
