About the Lighting Expert Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Lighting Expert to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the design, supervision, and inspection of road lighting systems. The role requires technical expertise in electrical and lighting systems to ensure projects meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards, and is suitable for candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Project Involvement

The Lighting Expert will play a crucial part in infrastructure projects, ensuring that road lighting systems are developed and implemented according to stringent engineering and environmental standards. This involves close coordination with various engineers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle to achieve optimal system performance and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop road lighting systems for highways, streets, and other infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine lighting requirements.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for lighting works.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of lighting systems.
• Ensure all lighting systems comply with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor energy efficiency and recommend sustainable lighting solutions.
• Review and validate contractor work, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, electrical inspectors, and project managers for integrated project planning.
• Conduct inspections to verify proper installation and performance of lighting systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
