About Zahid Tractor

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Mechanic-I to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for performing essential maintenance and repair tasks for machinery and equipment, both in the workshop and in the field. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Summary

The Mechanic-I carries out preventive maintenance (PM), basic troubleshooting, and repairs on various machines and equipment. This role is critical for ensuring the operational readiness and reliability of equipment, adhering to high-quality standards, and supporting field operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect machines and equipment to assess their general condition.
Perform PM services and repairs in accordance with the highest quality standards.
Conduct TA1 inspections and prepare reports for supervisor review, as required.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including time sheets and service reports.
Document and report any defects, damage, misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance observed on inspected equipment.
Work overtime when operational demands require it.
Be prepared to work at various locations throughout the Kingdom as needed.
Maintain good housekeeping practices for tools, workshop equipment, and work bays.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Experience and Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.
Proficiency in conducting PM services.
Ability to complete required documentation accurately.

Internal and External Interactions

This role involves regular interaction with internal teams and external customers to ensure efficient service delivery and problem resolution.

Internal Contacts: Service Admins for job time posting and reports; Supervisors for job scheduling, technical advice, and assistance.
External Contacts: Customers for validating machine fault locations and scheduling.
