Role Overview: Mechanical Engineer (PMO)

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking a Fresh Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Riyadh. This full-time position offers an opportunity for recent graduates to develop technical and project management skills by supporting planning, scheduling, reporting, document control, quality monitoring, and coordination activities across multiple projects. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on exposure to project controls and construction management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the PMO team in monitoring project progress and coordinating activities between engineering, construction, consultants, and contractors.
  • Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Assist in updating project schedules and monitoring project milestones and deliverables.
  • Support progress tracking against approved baselines and help prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Maintain project documentation and records, assisting in document control activities and ensuring proper filing of technical documents and correspondence.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and project dashboards.
  • Review engineering drawings for completeness and assist in quantity take-offs and basic engineering calculations.
  • Support design coordination between various disciplines and participate in technical inspections when required.
  • Collect project data from different stakeholders, prepare progress reports, and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in generating project performance metrics and support management reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and PMO standards, assist in monitoring quality documentation, and support the implementation of project governance processes.
  • Participate in internal audits when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Fresh Graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, offering a structured environment within our Project Management Office. The role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure and development for a Mechanical Engineer at the start of their career, fostering growth in project controls and construction management disciplines.
