Mechanical / HVAC Engineer

About the Role

First Gulf Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing mechanical and HVAC systems specifically within a hospital environment, ensuring their optimal operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the operation and maintenance of critical hospital infrastructure. This includes managing preventive maintenance programs and ensuring compliance with specific environmental controls.

• Supervising the operation and maintenance of chillers.
• Overseeing Air Handling Units (AHUs).
• Managing pumps and plumbing systems.
• Supervising steam and boiler systems.
• Managing medical gas plants.
• Implementing and controlling Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs.
• Controlling temperature, humidity, and pressure regimes within the hospital.
• Supporting infection-control requirements for all HVAC systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong background in mechanical and HVAC engineering, particularly within a healthcare setting. The role requires demonstrated experience in managing complex systems and adherence to strict operational standards.

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Mechanical / HVAC Engineer.
• Proven experience in supervising mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with hospital environments and their specific engineering requirements.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time role. The work environment is a hospital, requiring attention to detail and adherence to strict health and safety protocols.
