Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Al Khozama Investment is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing essential maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment across the company's properties. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment. This includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance, conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repairs in accordance with company standards, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, valves, compressors, plumbing-related mechanical equipment, and other building services systems.
• Monitor the condition and performance of mechanical equipment to identify potential faults before breakdowns occur.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns, restoring equipment to normal operating condition.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to approved plans.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical rooms, equipment, and associated installations.
• Assist in the maintenance and operation of HVAC and other building mechanical systems as required.
• Perform basic mechanical installation, dismantling, alignment, lubrication, and adjustment works.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Record completed maintenance activities, equipment conditions, spare parts used, and outstanding issues.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines when maintenance activities require joint support.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Report major defects, equipment failures, safety hazards, and required spare parts to the supervisor.
• Support contractors and specialist service providers during maintenance and repair activities.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Provide support during emergencies and breakdown situations when required.
• Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned by management.

Experience Required
