About the Role

stc is seeking a Mobile Satellite Portfolio Management Section Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing and managing the Mobile Satellite Portfolio through effective planning and direction. The role holder will ensure all duties are carried out in strict accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures, contributing to the strategic objectives of the organization.

Strategic and Managerial Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of stc’s organization strategy and participate in overall management and corporate decision-making processes.
• Direct and manage the mandates of Mobile Satellite Portfolio Management, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
• Lead and monitor change within Mobile Satellite Portfolio Management, offering necessary guidance and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards across all Mobile Satellite Portfolio Management activities.

Core Operational Duties

• Gather input from Commercial Strategy and identify specific Satellite product requirements.
• Coordinate with Commercial Strategy to ensure customer needs are accurately translated into clear product specifications.
• Develop and maintain the Satellite product portfolio of packages, ensuring alignment with the overarching marketing plan.
• Manage the lifecycle, revenues, and profitability of Satellite services, including continuous monitoring of service pricing.
• Manage the commercial launch of Satellite services bundles in close coordination with technical and commercial counterparts.
• Monitor the lifecycle of Satellite services and Add-ons, encompassing sales, retention, and market communication, as well as revenues and profitability. Conduct regular product deep dives, recommend corrective actions, and ensure their effective execution.
• Develop and maintain the roadmap for Satellite services and bundles, and actively participate in the development of the postpaid yearly market plan.
• Develop and monitor pricing for Satellite services and Add-ons in coordination with the Pricing team, based on prevailing market dynamics.
• Support Marketing Communication in the development of communication plans and briefs for Satellite services and Add-ons.
• Coordinate with Satellite Campaign management to maximize Satellite plan uptake, optimize sales, and minimize customer retention issues.
• Coordinate with Mobility Services and other B2C services product managers to facilitate the launch of bundled and integrated products.
• Coordinate with stc Channels to ensure market share and sales targets are consistently achieved.
• Determine the optimal commission scheme and sales mix across various channels.
• Coordinate with stc Channels and Customer Care to prepare relevant support material for Satellite services and bundles sales and customer service.
• Coordinate with Commercial Strategy to conduct customer-level analysis on Satellite services and bundles, generating actionable insights and recommendations.

People Management

• Define goals and key performance indicators for team members and ensure the effective application of the stc performance management process.
• Direct the planning and selection of manpower for the section in alignment with business and operational plans.
• Ensure a high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing ongoing feedback and coaching to team members within the Section.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in portfolio management, ideally within the telecommunications or satellite services industry. A proven track record in managing product lifecycles, driving profitability, and coordinating cross-functional teams is essential for success in this role.
