About the Role

Apex Tech is seeking a Multi Skilled FM Technician to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring deployment across various APEX client sites. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in facilities maintenance, focusing on a broad range of technical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of LV distribution boards, lighting circuits, power outlets, and small power equipment, including replacement of lamps, ballasts, switches, and fixtures.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and faults in water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems, carrying out installation and replacement of taps, valves, pipework, and pumps.
• Execute routine cleaning, filter replacement, and basic servicing of split and package AC units, identifying and reporting HVAC faults for escalation.
• Carry out minor carpentry repairs for doors, locks, furniture, partitions, and fixtures, alongside general building maintenance tasks such as ceiling tiles, wall fixtures, signage, and minor fabric repairs, including painting patch-up works.
• Receive and execute reactive maintenance work orders within assigned response times, confirming completion and accurately closing out work orders.
• Follow the planned PPM schedule for assigned equipment and areas, completing all maintenance logs, checklists, and close-out forms clearly and on time.

Operational Standards and Safety

• Ensure all work adheres to APEX Tech SOPs, client site rules, and relevant Saudi Civil Defense, SASO, and HSE safety standards.
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task, including gloves, safety glasses, and footwear.
• Report any abnormal readings, loose connections, signs of overheating, HVAC faults, safety hazards, near-misses, or incidents immediately to the Supervisor.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, and tidy condition after every task, ensuring a professional standard of finish on all repairs.

Tools and Resource Management

• Use and maintain all issued hand tools, power tools, and PPE in good working condition, reporting any damaged or missing items promptly.
• Utilize spare parts and consumables responsibly, reporting low stock of frequently used items to the Supervisor in advance to prevent delays.
• Refrain from using tools or equipment outside of trained competency without explicit supervisor approval.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a valid and transferable Iqama.
• Hold a valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Membership.
• Maintain a valid Saudi driving license.

Candidates are expected to maintain a professional and courteous manner when working on client premises, representing Apex Tech positively in all interactions with client staff. Adherence to all client site safety rules and Permit to Work requirements, where applicable, is mandatory.
