About the Building Maintenance Technician Role

شركة شلفا لإدارة المرافق is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of various buildings.

Core Responsibilities

The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a range of duties aimed at maintaining building integrity and operational efficiency. This includes studying and understanding periodic maintenance plans, identifying and reporting technical defects, and collaborating with engineers on repair strategies. The role also involves preparing necessary material and equipment lists for maintenance tasks, and overseeing the execution of both periodic and emergency repair work.

Key Duties and Tasks

Studying the details of periodic maintenance plans for various buildings.
Identifying technical defects and discussing treatment methods with the engineer.
Preparing a list of necessary materials for maintenance work.
Preparing a list of required tools, equipment, and labor for work completion.
Following up on the implementation of periodic and emergency maintenance work.
Verifying that executed works conform to plans and specifications.
Clarifying plan details to subordinates.
Following up on the attendance of various work teams.
Submitting reports on completed works.

Additional Responsibilities

Measuring completed works and calculating their quantities.
Auditing quantities and preparing financial claims in coordination with the quantity surveyor.
Handing over completed works to the supervision department.

Qualifications and Experience

This role is suitable for individuals with 0 to 1 year of experience in building maintenance. A foundational understanding of maintenance procedures and the ability to follow technical plans are essential.
