About the Role

Accelerec is seeking a Network Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, permanent position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Overview

The Network Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of robust network systems within a technologically advanced environment. This position is central to ensuring operational efficiency and supporting the company's technological advancements through expert network management and security practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and deploy scalable and secure network architectures, applying best practices in routing, switching, and firewall management.
Implement and maintain advanced routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF to ensure optimal network performance and connectivity.
Manage and secure network devices, including the configuration of VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Monitor network performance, identify potential issues through packet analysis, and proactively troubleshoot to ensure high availability and minimize downtime.
Develop and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure data integrity.
Explore and integrate cloud networking solutions within AWS and Azure environments to enhance hybrid cloud capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless network integration with other systems.

Experience and Qualifications

2-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
Demonstrated expertise in network design, configuration, and deployment.
Proficiency with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
Experience managing network security devices including VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
Familiarity with cloud networking solutions, specifically within AWS and Azure.
