About the Store Officer Role

alfanar is seeking a full-time Store Officer to join our team in Riyadh. This role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience to oversee all store operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in inventory management and material handling.

Key Responsibilities in Warehouse Operations

The Store Officer will be responsible for the physical and system-based management of goods, including:

  • Overseeing the receiving, put-away, storing, issuing, and transferring of goods.
  • Maintaining the goods receipt register and ensuring the safe keeping of sample or free-of-cost items.
  • Updating bin locations in the system and for finished goods to maintain the master file.
  • Conducting perpetual stock counts and submitting monthly reports to superiors.
  • Adhering to the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) policy and ensuring proper preservation of items to prevent damages, leakages, and pilferages.

Operational Duties and Support

This role involves supporting various operational functions and ensuring smooth material flow:

  • Assisting QC personnel with incoming materials quality inspection.
  • Picking goods against issuance or outbound delivery (OBD) and handing them over to the relevant parties.
  • Verifying loaded scrap and creating non-returnable gate passes.
  • Preserving rejected goods and coordinating with the Purchase Department for further actions.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the effective utilization of material handling equipment.

Adherence to Management Systems and Policies

The Store Officer is expected to uphold company standards and policies:

  • Ensuring the implementation of established management systems.
  • Adhering to quality, safety, environmental, and other company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant technical and soft skills applicable to store operations.
