About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Painter to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves applying paint, varnish, and finishes to various surfaces within the hotel, ensuring high standards of appearance and maintenance. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply paint, varnish, or finishes using brushes, sprayers, or rollers on hotel walls, ceilings, and furniture.
• Prepare surfaces for finishing coats by applying primer or putty.
• Remove old coatings through stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, sandblasting, and/or water methods.
• Properly protect surfaces during painting and place appropriate warning signs.
• Clean and store paint, tools, and equipment in designated areas.
• Communicate with suppliers to modify paint, stain, or varnish colors.

Safety and Security Compliance

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.

Professional Conduct and Service Standards

• Maintain a clean and complete uniform and a neat, professional appearance at all times.
• Respect confidentiality regarding brand and/or hotel information and protect company assets.
• Greet and welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express gratitude.
• Use clear and courteous language in all communications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to climb and descend ladders.
• Capability to carry, turn, and handle loads of varying sizes and weights.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 23 kilograms independently.
• Comfortable working standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods.
