Role Overview
The PCG Eng DME plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing processes and the successful introduction of new products. This full-time position involves leading engineering changes, maintaining accurate production data, managing product labeling, and optimizing system processes to enhance production efficiency and system usability within the factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Change Execution: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Engineering Changes (EC) and Process Change Notices (PCN) within the factory.
- Production Data Maintenance: Manage data entry, updates, and verification in production systems such as TDC, MES, and SAP, ensuring data accuracy and traceability to support production.
- Label Management: Design, produce, update, and maintain product labels, ensuring that label information complies with local regulations, customer requirements, and factory management standards.
- System Process Optimization: Identify pain points in the operation of manufacturing systems and bottlenecks in production processes. Propose optimization solutions, drive their implementation, and verify results to improve production efficiency and system usability.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) Support: Complete necessary engineering preparation to ensure new products are mass-produced according to schedule.
- Production Abnormality Resolution: Quickly resolve production abnormalities to ensure smooth production operations. This includes organizing root cause analysis, developing and implementing solutions to minimize production impact and shorten downtime.
Required Experience
Candidates for the PCG Eng DME position are required to have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering or manufacturing support role. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of production processes, data management, and system optimization within a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic manufacturing setting, requiring direct engagement with production systems and teams to achieve operational excellence.
