About the Professional Services Consultant Role

Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves working with clients and partners on engagements of medium-to-high complexity, focusing on the implementation, optimization, and operation of enhanced security products. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills and a structured approach to IT security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer engagement objectives, project scope, and business and technical requirements.
• Participate in architecture design workshops with customers and partners, providing necessary input.
• Create project-related documentation, including technical architecture diagrams, High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs, Migration Plans, Test Plans, Methods of Procedures, Network Implementation Plans, and As-Built guides.
• Contribute to scoping meetings and the development of statements of work based on accurate customer requirement analysis.
• Ensure project documents are accurate, complete, current, and properly stored.
• Perform deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions within customer environments.
• Assist customers during the rollout, migration, or go-live phases of deployed security solutions.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for customer staff on relevant Fortinet security solutions.
• Resolve and escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Minimize Fortinet’s exposure and risk on projects.
• Complete and submit required administrative tasks, including timesheets, activity reports, and project reports.
• Continuously develop knowledge and skills in relevant Fortinet technologies, products, and services through self-study or required training.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.
• 3+ years of experience with Network Security Products.
• Experience working as a Professional Services senior consultant or engineer is considered a plus.
• Expertise in NGFW and at least two of the following technologies: Email Security, Advanced Thread Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Network Security Management, SIEM, Network Virtualization, Software Defined Networks (SDN), or other cloud-based security technologies.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in a technical or management discipline, or equivalent extensive work-related experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires flexible working hours and may involve remote and/or onsite client engagements.
