About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services is seeking a Sr. Delivery Consultant Security Professional Services to join our team in Riyadh. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that align with their technical requirements and business objectives. You will play a key part in guiding customers through their cloud adoption journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout project lifecycles.

Role Context and Responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant, you will leverage a deep understanding of AWS products and services to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to customer needs. You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading implementation processes, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing project risks.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team dedicated to helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes using the AWS Cloud. We work alongside customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team offers assistance through a range of services designed to support specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption, as well as focused guidance through global specialty practices covering various solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Engaging with AWS customers and internal stakeholders as trusted security advisors to executives and technical teams.
• Promoting Amazon's culture of security and maintaining the highest security standards in all interactions with customers, partners, peers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in external or internal customer-facing, complex, and large-scale project management.
• Experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• Experience in Security, Risk, and Compliance.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on security experience in two or more of the following areas: Cloud Security, Application Security (security SDLC, threat modeling, code review), Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Data Protection, Incident Response.
• Hands-on experience implementing enterprise security solutions (*, Data Loss Prevention, WAF, SIEM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and operating systems.
• Relevant security certifications (*, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP) are beneficial.
• Experience with complex, cloud transformation projects.
• Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities in ambiguous environments.
• German language proficiency.
