About Unifonic and the Role

This full-time Senior Compliance Specialist role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, is central to managing the organization's regulatory perception and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

The Compliance Team

The Compliance team at Unifonic is responsible for managing and enhancing the company's overall compliance function. The team focuses on all compliance affairs to proactively identify potential issues and develop practical solutions that support business operations while maintaining regulatory integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
  • Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
  • Maintain open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory updates and their impact.
  • Organize regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes.
  • Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
  • Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
  • Maintain internal regulatory compliance through communication, obtaining approvals, and stakeholder training.
  • Manage applications for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance recordkeeping system.
  • Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
  • Stay informed about compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
  • Identify process roadblocks and propose improvements.
  • Maintain the compliance communication register and documentation.
  • Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory compliance audit findings and violations.
  • Remediate regulatory audits and periodic reviews, compiling identified gaps and action plans.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in compliance or regulatory affairs. A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and the ability to apply them within a dynamic business environment are essential.
