About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager - Finance & Business (Internal Audit) to join its team in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an individual with a strong understanding of finance and business operations to ensure effective governance, risk management, and control processes across the organization. The role is focused on enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic objectives through robust audit practices.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Internal Audit will lead and manage internal audit activities, encompassing planning, execution, and reporting. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments to identify potential exposures and prioritize audit efforts, as well as evaluating internal controls, compliance, and operational efficiency across various departments. This role involves developing and implementing audit methodologies and best practices to strengthen the internal audit function.

  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and the board.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to develop improvement plans in response to audit findings.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and report on progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal audit.
  • Build and develop a high-performing internal audit team through coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or a relevant professional certification such as CIA or CPA is preferred. The role requires a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in internal audit, finance, or risk management, ideally within a large organizational setting.

  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management frameworks, and internal control practices.
  • Proven experience in delivering comprehensive audit projects and managing audit teams.
  • Experience in the entertainment, sports, or real estate sectors is considered advantageous.

Required Skills

Essential skills for this position include excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively convey audit findings to various stakeholders. The ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across different functions within the organization is also crucial.
