Role Summary

The Senior Manager Information Technology will be responsible for the full spectrum of IT infrastructure, services, and systems at Sapphire. This full-time role involves developing, executing, and maintaining IT operations, particularly during the company's transition from construction to operational phases. The position requires a strategic leader with strong technical acumen and project management capabilities to support a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and install IT hardware and software, including laptops, accessories, projectors, and conferencing tools.
• Manage Microsoft Office license deployment and renewal for all employees.
• Oversee network infrastructure, internet service provisioning, and site connectivity in coordination with SILZ and telecom providers.
• Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, and IT security control systems.
• Lead the end-to-end deployment of the company’s ERP system, ensuring integration across finance, HR, procurement, production, and maintenance.
• Manage post-go-live support, enhancements, and user adoption initiatives for IT systems.
• Drive automation and optimization of business processes through IT systems.
• Participate in defining and implementing IT strategy, aligning with Sapphire’s operational and business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Facility Manager to ensure IT infrastructure requirements are met for office and factory environments.
• Work with the production team to identify, procure, and maintain IT and network systems related to production lines and automation technologies.
• Establish IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure security, availability, and business continuity.
• Deploy and maintain IT security controls in alignment with applicable Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC).
• Monitor IT performance through KPIs, issue reports, and drive continuous improvements.
• Identify, engage, and manage IT vendors, service providers, and system integrators.
• Contribute to the development and management of annual IT budgets covering hardware, software, services, and licensing.
• Manage all third-party IT contracts and ensure service delivery per SLAs.
• Deliver or coordinate user training on systems and platforms.
• Serve as the escalation point for critical IT issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s website.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Demonstrated technical acumen in IT infrastructure, services, and systems.
• Proven project management capability, particularly in system deployment and integration.
• Experience in establishing core IT functions during company transitions.
• Familiarity with IT security controls and compliance frameworks like ECC.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ). The position requires working in a high-tech manufacturing environment, collaborating with various internal teams and external providers.
