About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a dedicated Senior Mechanic to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves performing essential mechanical maintenance to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of our production units. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of maintenance activities, from routine checks to emergency repairs, all while adhering to established safety protocols.

Role Summary

The Senior Mechanic plays a crucial role in maintaining the mechanical integrity and performance of the company's equipment. This involves systematic execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, monitoring operational parameters, and ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues that could impact operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in strict adherence to approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units, ensuring operation within designated limits, and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency.
• Identify and assess the readiness of required tools and equipment for maintenance tasks, performing preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure the correct disposal of maintenance waste.
• Perform mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts, to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures prior to commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
