About the Senior Mechanic Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the mechanical systems and operational efficiency of the company's production units. The role encompasses a range of maintenance, repair, and monitoring activities, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to established procedures.

Mechanical Maintenance and Repair

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in strict accordance with approved company policies and procedures.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including specialized tasks such as welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts, to ensure their readiness and efficiency.

Operational Monitoring and Performance

• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure they operate within designated operational limits.
• Report any observations that may affect equipment efficiency or operational integrity.

Tool and Resource Management

• Identify the necessary tools and equipment for maintenance tasks and assess their readiness for use.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, ensuring proper maintenance.
• Ensure the proper disposal of maintenance waste materials.

Safety and Procedural Compliance

• Comply with all established safety procedures before initiating any work.
• Verify the necessary permits and complete lockout/tagout forms as required by safety protocols.

Work Context and Additional Duties

This full-time Senior Mechanic role is based in Riyadh and requires a proactive approach to maintaining industrial equipment. The incumbent will also be responsible for performing any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of operations at Yamama Cement Company.
