Senior Project Controls Manager Change Management

About the Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager Change Management to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves combining construction expertise with consultancy to enhance project potential. The position is within a PMO team, focusing on change management processes for a large new build airport project.

Project Context

The project involves a significant new build airport designed to establish a global benchmark for aviation experience. This development aims to attract 120 million passengers by 2030 within Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Change Management process within an assigned programme as part of the PMO team.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all change-related matters.
• Provide guidance to project teams in developing, coordinating, and progressing Change Requests through the governance process.
• Ensure compliance with programme requirements and alignment across all functions.
• Collaborate towards the goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant degree or equivalent, with progress towards chartership with a recognised professional body. A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience in Change Management, PMO, Project Controls, Commercial, Governance, or similar functions on major projects or programmes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional reviews, approvals, and governance processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working on major infrastructure, aviation, construction, or capital programmes.
• Knowledge of project controls, cost, schedule, risk, and commercial management principles.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of programme governance, assurance, and change control best practices.
• Experience with Unifier is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple change requests and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Possession of necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.
