About the Role

Mace Group is seeking a Senior Risk Manager (M3) to join our team in Riyadh. This part-time role involves managing and potentially leading the implementation and delivery of risk services to support commissions. The Senior Risk Manager will also provide line management leadership and guidance to others within the PMO and Planning Centre of Excellence and assigned Hub as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Mace's value of Safety First, demonstrating visible safety behaviours and utilising Mace's HSW framework.
  • Ensure robust quality systems are in place and managed in line with service excellence.
  • Manage project delivery from inception through design development, planning, contractor procurement, and construction phases, aligning with the overall program and agreed milestones.
  • Manage tasks and deliverables to support senior leaders and project teams, ensuring timely and accurate project delivery.
  • Oversee project budgets, identifying risks, challenges, and mitigations.
  • Support the long-term development of the function or Business Unit to ensure a sustainable future.
  • Manage design and consultant teams collaboratively to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
  • Lead and manage the project team and stakeholders to achieve strategic project KPIs.
  • Lead risk management frameworks, strategies, and performance across assigned commissions.
  • Partner with clients, consultants, and contractors to manage risks, mitigations, and opportunities.
  • Deliver workshops, Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), reporting, and assurance in line with Mace and client requirements.
  • Mentor teams, integrate PMO/planning disciplines, and provide support.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in effective risk leadership on complex construction projects.
  • Experience in setting up effective risk management and assurance frameworks/strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and software (*, Active Risk Manager, riskHive, atrisk, Primavera Risk Analyser).
  • Deep domain knowledge of providing risk leadership in one or more sectors (*, rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals).
  • Extensive experience delivering a range of project risk management services on major construction projects.

  • Good understanding of construction projects, dependencies, and interfaces within the project lifecycle.
