About the Role

Takamol Holding is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on securing cloud platforms and advancing modern security engineering practices within the organization. The position involves shaping the next generation of secure cloud platforms and implementing robust security measures.

Role Purpose and Focus

The Senior Security Engineer will operate at the intersection of Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Zero Trust principles. This position involves close collaboration with engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and continuously enhance enterprise security capabilities. The primary objective is to build secure-by-design platforms, automate security at scale, and address complex cloud security challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architectures and landing zones.
• Lead initiatives for cloud security posture management and configuration compliance.
• Define cloud security standards and develop reference architectures.
• Implement security controls using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Design and manage Zero Trust network security, micro-segmentation, and secure cloud-native access models.
• Lead the architecture and governance of Kubernetes security.
• Build secure DevSecOps pipelines and integrate automated security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design enterprise authentication and authorization solutions using Keycloak, and manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault.
• Partner with engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams to embed security into every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Lead security investigations, conduct security reviews for major platform releases, and contribute to continuous security improvement efforts.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of professional experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments. Demonstrated expertise in areas such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), DevSecOps practices, Kubernetes security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Zero Trust architectures is essential. Practical experience with tools like Keycloak and HashiCorp Vault, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security controls, is also required.

Collaboration and Work Environment

This full-time role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with various engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams. The environment emphasizes integrating security from the initial design phase through continuous enhancement, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for platform security.
