About the Service Technician Role

Lucid Motors Saudi Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet manufacturer standards and company procedures. The role is crucial for supporting workshop operations, ensuring high-quality technical service, and contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence within the service center.

Role Responsibilities

The Service Technician will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure efficient and effective vehicle service. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
• Identifying mechanical, electrical, and technical faults using diagnostic equipment and repair manuals.
• Executing repairs and maintenance in accordance with OEM standards and workshop procedures.
• Conducting testing and quality checks to confirm vehicle operational status before delivery.
• Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, with guidance from senior staff.
• Accurately documenting repair findings, work performed, and parts utilized.
• Ensuring timely completion of repair orders while upholding high standards of workmanship.
• Maintaining workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Adhering to all safety policies, operational procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinating with Service Advisors and Parts teams to facilitate efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Participating in technical training to continuously enhance product and technical knowledge.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• A diploma or technical certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service and repair.
• Experience with premium automotive brands or electric vehicles (EVs) is preferred.
• Basic English communication skills are required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• A valid driving license is preferred.

Technical and Personal Skills

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong set of technical and personal skills:

• Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems (electrical, mechanical, diagnostic), proficiency with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment, understanding of repair manuals and OEM procedures. Knowledge of EV systems and high-voltage safety procedures is advantageous, as is familiarity with workshop health and safety practices.
• Personal Skills: A detail-oriented and quality-focused approach, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines, effective teamwork and collaboration skills, and good communication and organizational capabilities.

Work Environment and Context

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within a workshop environment where adherence to safety protocols and efficient workflow are paramount. The Service Technician will collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
