About alfanar Group and the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a Sr. Consultant, Functional MDG to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring an effective Master Data Governance (MDG) product that supports alfanar’s global data strategy, maintaining high-quality, compliant, and well-integrated master data across systems.

Role Overview and Impact

The primary objective of this position is to enable consistent, secure, and reliable data for enterprise operations. The Sr. Consultant will be responsible for defining the product roadmap for enterprise data governance tools, such as Pilog and SAP MDG, ensuring alignment with global data strategy and business objectives. This role involves owning the end-to-end MDG product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement governance rules, workflows, validations, and controls as per business owner decisions.
• Drive Master Data Process Ownership across the organization.
• Oversee Integration & Architecture aspects related to master data systems.
• Manage Data Quality & Cleansing initiatives to ensure data integrity.
• Lead Global Data Migration efforts.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective data governance adoption.
• Manage risks and ensure compliance related to master data.
• Oversee the Product Lifecycle Management for MDG tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Master Data Governance or a related functional area.
• Demonstrated ability to own the end-to-end MDG product lifecycle.
• Proven experience in implementing governance rules, workflows, validations, and controls.
