About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Sr. Engineer Systems, Data Center to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to the design, engineering, and implementation of integrated electrical power systems for containerized data center power modules. The role ensures the seamless integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems, adhering strictly to project specifications and quality standards.

System Design and Engineering

Design and engineer integrated power solutions for containerized data centers, incorporating MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
Develop detailed system architectures, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for ETO manufacturing.

Technical Implementation and Optimization

Implement system integration plans to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of all electrical components within the power module.
Solve complex technical issues during the assembly and integration phases of data center power solutions.
Analyze system performance requirements and recommend design modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Develop testing protocols and analyze results to validate system functionality against client requirements.

General Accountabilities

Obtain updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution of planned tasks.
Solve related problems as they arise and escalate complex operational issues when necessary.
Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
Comply with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products/services.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant systems engineering or data center infrastructure role, demonstrating a strong background in electrical power systems.
