The Role of Store In Charge

Avanceon is seeking an organized and experienced Store In Charge to manage critical store operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing shipment receiving, maintaining inventory, arranging transport for engineering equipment, and issuing materials according to project requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock and inventory by accurately recording purchase orders, labels, and recognizable codes, while ensuring timely arrangements for engineering product shipments to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory in an orderly manner, including receiving shipments, checking material deliveries against purchase orders, and marking and labeling goods with identifying codes.
• Manage Bin Cards and issue records for all items available at site stores.
• Ensure equipment and tools required for stores management comply with Safety SOPs.
• Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for every shipment received and update the accounts department for cost booking.
• Promptly notify and return any damaged items upon receipt.
• Prepare and issue Monthly Stock/Inventory balance reports.
• Implement company procedures for the preservation and storage of materials.
• Issue material as per Store Requisition and update the Insurance company.
• Arrange shipment packing according to standard requirements and commodity nature to ensure safe delivery to the final destination.
• Organize transport for inland shipments as per SOPs and ensure their cost is booked for timely payment execution.
• Update the Insurance company and Log Sheet on a monthly basis.
• Conduct audits in line with regional legal and standard SOPs, and perform special tasks as instructed by management.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Proven ability to maintain inventory systems, including receipt, labeling, storage, issuance, and bin card management in compliance with company procedures and safety SOPs.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), monthly stock reports, and coordinating with the accounts department for cost booking.
• Capability in handling shipment arrangements, packing according to commodity standards, and organizing inland transport logistics in line with SOPs.
• Familiarity with insurance processes, including coordinating with internal teams regarding material movements and updating log sheets.
• Skill in identifying and managing damaged goods, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with local laws and freezone regulations.
