Technical Sales Manager

About the Role

BIN TALEB is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading technical sales operations and managing the bid process from initial order receipt through to contract award. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical sales operations and bids, from order receipt to contract award.
• Analyze Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and tender documents, including technical specifications.
• Review drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and analyze project requirements.
• Prepare and review pricing proposals and technical/commercial bids.
• Oversee cost estimation and pricing strategies to ensure profitability margins.
• Coordinate with engineering departments and procurement to ensure bid accuracy.
• Manage technical and commercial negotiations with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Develop business opportunities and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in technical sales or a related field. A strong understanding of sales operations, bid management, and technical specifications is essential for success in this role.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in analyzing RFQs, tender documents, and technical specifications.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and Bills of Quantities.
• Strong skills in preparing and reviewing pricing proposals and technical/commercial bids.
• Expertise in cost estimation and developing profitable pricing strategies.
• Effective coordination and communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The salary for this role ranges from SAR 15,000 to SAR 18,750, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
