Technician HVAC Senior

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the inspection, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as air quality control and refrigeration equipment within the hotel premises. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of the mechanical plant.
• Monitor and control hotel temperature and analyze energy and utility usage.
• Calibrate controls, indicators, and meters.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assembly, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.

Safety and Compliance

• Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest and Employee Interaction

• Receive and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, listening and responding appropriately to concerns.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stretch overhead and below knees.
• Capable of moving through confined or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights.
• Provide assistance moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing more than 100 pounds.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
