About the Role

Restart is seeking a Tendering Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves preparing and managing technical and financial proposals for various tenders and RFQs, ensuring all submissions are comprehensive and meet deadlines. The position requires a professional with a strong understanding of tender processes and cost estimation within the construction and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage technical and financial proposals for tenders and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
• Review tender documents, including drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial, procurement, and project teams to develop competitive bids.
• Prepare cost estimates, pricing, rate analysis, and financial offers.
• Identify project requirements, potential risks, exclusions, and commercial conditions.
• Develop method statements, technical submissions, compliance statements, and other necessary tender documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations and pricing.
• Ensure all tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted within specified deadlines.
• Maintain proper records of all tender documents and submitted proposals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tendering, estimation, or proposal preparation.
• Experience in construction and engineering projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technical and financial proposal preparation.
• Good understanding of BOQ, cost estimation, pricing, and rate analysis principles.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under tight tender deadlines.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring a dedicated approach to managing multiple tender processes efficiently.
