About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Waiter to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to providing exceptional guest service within a dynamic hospitality environment. The role is central to delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Role Contribution

As a Guest Service Expert, the Waiter plays a crucial role in shaping the overall dining experience. This involves ensuring that food and beverages are served in an atmosphere that complements and enhances guest satisfaction. The focus is on proactive service delivery to create a positive and unique experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with kitchen staff.
• Interacting with guests to take orders and serve food and beverages.
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas and supplies.
• Ensuring all guest transactions contribute positively to their overall experience.

Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including:

• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Moving over sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Reading and visually verifying menu information.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
