About the Role

Al-Bilad for Consultancies & Solutions is seeking a dedicated Welding Instructor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the effective delivery of our Mechanical Vocational Engineering Program, focusing on comprehensive technical assessments and the education and training of students or trainees.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the successful implementation of the Mechanical Vocational Engineering Program. The instructor will be responsible for conducting thorough technical assessments and providing high-quality education and training to students or trainees in vocational engineering principles, practices, and technologies, preparing them for industry demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction according to established curricula and develop personalized lesson plans aligned with the Engineering Program and diploma pathways.
• Ensure teaching resources are current, compatible with workshop equipment, and meet specific industry requirements.
• Provide diverse training resources to support practical learning and accommodate various learning styles.
• Supervise trainees, monitor their retention and progression, and uphold the Trainee Code of Conduct.
• Perform any other associated work as required by management.

Collaboration and Program Development

• Collaborate with the Institute's Engineering Teaching Delivery team to enhance the Trainee Learning Journey for industry preparedness.
• Contribute to and advise on the development of teaching resources within the assigned area.
• Promote best practices and innovative approaches in teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering Teams, Quality Coordinators, and other instructors to support comprehensive curriculum delivery.
• Maintain communication with Engineering Management to ensure trainees meet industry competencies and work readiness.

Professional Development and Requirements

• Actively participate in the "Train the Trainer" Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program to continuously improve teaching quality.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
