About the OPINT Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an OPINT professional for a full-time position based in Riyadh or Taif. This role serves as the primary interface with RSAF Command and front-line operations, focusing on understanding and responding to Mission Data (MD) needs. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end MD production activity, including generation and briefing of MD material to front-line personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the EWC Typhoon Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and Concept of Use (CONUSE).
• Interface with the Intelligence Directorate for new ELINT Collection tasking to support MD Operational Requirements.
• Specify and prioritize operationally relevant threat engagement scenarios.
• Liaise with the RSAF MD tasking agency and front-line users to understand and agree on Training, Exercise, and Operational MD requirements, including content, priority, rules of engagement, tactics, and schedule. This involves identifying MD use, generating EOB and Theatre Environment Requirements, providing MDS scenario requirements for T&V, allocating tactics and CMs to threats, and specifying Multifunctional Information Distribution System coverage and Identification Friend or Foe modes.
• Advise the TVACD Section on Typhoon aircraft performance characteristics and tactics.
• Issue Mission Data Sets (MDS), including MD configuration control and associated documentation.
• Produce RSAF Typhoon front-line user MDS briefing material and supporting documentation, such as the Aircrew Briefing Guide (ABG).
• Brief MDS content and anticipated performance to front-line users and debrief MD performance problems.
• Coordinate MDS feedback to other EWC Sections and manage Post-Flight Analysis (PFA) activities.
• Support the Test and Evaluation cell at Taif.
• Plan and manage EWC support to trials, and process and manage the analysis of trial and exercise data.
• Develop and maintain Ops section processes and procedures.
• Carry out any further functions requested by the RSAF.

Operational Intelligence Focus

This role is central to ensuring that Typhoon Post-Flight Analysis (PFA) information is disseminated to appropriate EWC sections for analysis. The OPINT professional will serve as the primary interface to the Intelligence Directorate, acting as the EWC interface for the collection and validation of operational intelligence, including Operational Electronic Intelligence (OpELINT), ELINT, and Typhoon PFA.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position within BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, contributing to critical operational support functions.
