About the Role

Raytheon is seeking a Power Design Electrical Engineer II to join the System Power, Analog and Controls Department within the Effector Guidance team. This full-time position is located in Al Qatif. The role involves critical contributions to national defense projects, leveraging over 100 years of company experience in engineering expertise to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

The Power Design Electrical Engineer II will be responsible for:

• Designing, analyzing (including thermal considerations), simulating, and testing power conversion circuitry. This may involve utilizing standard non-isolated power conversion topologies such as buck, boost, and buck-boost, for both modules and discrete designs.
• Guiding Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) personnel in the layout of power circuitry on Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) and the creation of technical drawings.
• Performing design work within established project schedules.
• Presenting technical data reviews to program leadership and technical staff.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
• A minimum of 2 years of prior relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the design, analysis, simulation, and/or testing of linear converters.
• Demonstrated experience with any of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, or buck-boost.
• Experience with the design, analysis, and testing of analog electronic circuits, including FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuits.

Compensation and Work Details

The salary range for this position is between 68,900 USD and 131,100 USD. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Al Qatif.
