Role Summary:
As a Machine Operator in our production department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machines, ensuring that we meet our schedule and quality standards while adhering to GMP and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor machines.
Perform quality checks and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain and clean equipment.
Record operational data and follow safety protocols.
Support preventive maintenance and report issues.
Execute tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Technical Certificate.
23 years of experience as a machine operator in a production environment.

KPIs:

Product accuracy and quality.
Defect and reject rate.

Join Al Watania's Team as a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician!
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to be part of our plastic manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.

Location: Qaisumah, Saudi Arabia
Industry: Plastic Manufacturing

About the Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our plastic processing machinery to ensure uninterrupted production. Your expertise will help us minimize downtime and enhance efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery (injection molding, blow molding, extrusion).
Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure timely repairs.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Support installation of new equipment.
Supervise junior technicians and offer technical guidance.
Maintain logs and records of maintenance activities.
Adhere to safety regulations and plant procedures.
Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor for issue resolution.
Perform emergency maintenance as needed.

Requirements:

Diploma/Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the plastic manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Hands-on experience with plastic processing machines.
Able to work independently under pressure.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
