About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Maintenance-Helper to join our team in Medina. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to performing essential maintenance and repair tasks. The role focuses on ensuring high safety and quality standards while providing professional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Address minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets.
• Perform various minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including regular cleaning and lubrication.
• Adhere strictly to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Promptly report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to supervisors.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure personal appearance and uniform are consistently clean and professional.
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, providing assistance to individuals with disabilities as required.
• Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
• Foster and maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure continuous adherence to established quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capacity to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for proper function and maintenance.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Willingness to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds (*, A/C units, televisions, dressers).
• Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders safely.
• Skill in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Maintenance-Helper position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A foundational understanding of basic maintenance and repair tasks is beneficial.
