We are actively looking for a talented Public Relations and Communications Specialist to enhance our brand image and reputation within the electronics retail sector. As a part of eXtra, you will play a vital role in driving communication strategies that engage our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic PR and communication plans.
- Create engaging content for press releases, articles, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and communicate newsworthy stories.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends.
- Support crisis communication efforts and prepare timely statements.
- Plan and execute PR events and media interviews.
- Manage company social media platforms and track performance.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR efforts.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing.
- Proven experience in PR and communications within the consumer electronics industry.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage PR campaigns effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant communication tools.
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
