Job Overview:As a Swimming Pool Technician, your main responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing the hotel's swimming pools, spas, and related equipment. You will ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pool water, conduct routine maintenance, and resolve any technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on swimming pools, spas, and equipment.
- Water Quality: Test and adjust chemical levels in the pool to maintain safety standards.
- Cleaning: Ensure cleanliness of the pool area, including vacuuming and skimming debris.
- Equipment Management: Inspect and maintain all pool equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to local health and safety regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities.
- Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service to guests related to pool inquiries.
Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in pool maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as a swimming pool technician in a hospitality setting.
- Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment.
