About the Role

Saudi Pan Kingdom Company - SAPAC is seeking a highly experienced Marine Construction Director to join their team. This full-time leadership position is based in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for overseeing significant marine and coastal infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The Marine Construction Director provides strategic and operational leadership for marine and coastal construction projects. This role ensures that all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with technical, quality, environmental, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee diverse marine construction projects, including ports, harbors, jetties, piers, quay walls, breakwaters, seawalls, dredging, reclamation, piling, and various waterfront structures.
• Develop comprehensive construction strategies, methodologies, project schedules, resource plans, and execution plans.
• Review and approve technical designs, construction methodologies, shop drawings, temporary works, and all engineering submissions.
• Identify, assess, and manage technical, operational, commercial, environmental, and safety risks associated with projects.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards, environmental regulations, project specifications, and applicable marine standards.
• Oversee marine equipment and operations, including barges, cranes, dredgers, tugboats, piling rigs, and workboats.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or Construction Engineering.
• A minimum of 20 years of construction experience, with a significant portion dedicated to marine and coastal infrastructure projects.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in senior management or directorial roles within marine construction.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large-scale marine construction projects.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of dredging, reclamation, piling, marine foundations, concrete works, coastal protection, and underwater construction techniques.
