About the Role

Fireman Contracting, a company specializing in safety and security, is seeking an Alarm Technician to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position involves working with various alarm systems to ensure their proper installation, functionality, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Wiring: Pulling and connecting system wires according to engineering drawings.
• Commissioning and Testing: Testing zone circuits to ensure connection integrity and the absence of short or open circuits.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Cleaning smoke detectors to prevent false alarms and troubleshooting faults indicated by LEDs on traditional panels (*, ground faults, battery faults, zone disconnections).
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensuring detector distances and heights comply with local codes (such as the Saudi Building Code) or international codes (NFPA 72).
• Documentation: Filling out periodic inspection reports and submitting them to supervisors or clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in traditional and addressable alarm systems and programming.
• Proficiency in English (very good to excellent).
• Must possess a personal vehicle.
• Immediate availability for work.
• Currently located in Jeddah.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and operates on a full-time schedule. The Alarm Technician will be an integral part of the Fireman Contracting team, contributing to the company's commitment to safety and security.
