Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, for a Bilingual Creative Copywriter. The Creative Copywriter will be responsible for crafting compelling copy, writing engaging digital content, and spearheading creative writing projects. The role will involve brainstorming innovative ideas, developing communication strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align messaging with Barakah’s mission of sustainability and community impact.

Qualifications:

• Strong Communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate across teams
• Exceptional Creativity Skills for developing original and engaging concepts and messaging in both Arabic and English
• Ability to adapt tone and style to align with branding and target audiences
• Passion for sustainability and community-driven initiatives
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred

Overview
The Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and effective concepts and copy in the Arabic language for advertising campaigns. In collaboration with other members of the creative team, they craft communication pieces and campaigns across various mediums that effectively communicate the message and goals of the campaign while also resonating with the target audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing texts (*, copy, product descriptions), proofreading, and content editing.
• Ensuring the consistency of prepared content.
• Partnering with an Art Director to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
• Understanding the power of data intelligence to help achieve communication challenges.
• Conceptualizing and writing everything from white paper ideas to social media content.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in concept creation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study.
• Strong conceptualization and smart thinking skills.
• Exceptional skills and a robust portfolio showcasing talent across multiple mediums.
