About the Role

شركة ايديكس الدولية للمقاولات is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage and control day-to-day accounting activities at its site in Jeddah, Mecca Al-Mukarramah. This full-time role primarily focuses on Accounts Payable (AP), supplier transactions, purchase invoice processing, and site petty cash management. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including processing, verifying, recording, and following up on supplier invoices.
• Maintain accurate supplier accounts, review supplier statements, and assist with reconciliations and the resolution of discrepancies.
• Review purchase invoices against purchase orders (POs), delivery documents, goods receipt documents, and ensure all required approvals are obtained.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices related to supplier advance payments and ensure their timely clearance.
• Manage site petty cash and employee advances, including related reconciliations.
• Ensure proper allocation of expenses to the relevant General Ledger (GL) accounts, cost centers, and projects.
• Coordinate effectively with Procurement, Warehouse, Site, and Finance teams regarding invoices, supplier balances, and other accounting matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on Accounts Payable.
• Demonstrated experience in managing supplier transactions and invoice processing.
• Proficiency in financial software and accounting principles.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with various internal departments.
• Problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies and managing accounts.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at the company's site in Jeddah, Mecca Al-Mukarramah. The role requires active collaboration with various teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
