About the Internship

Bupa Arabia is offering an internship opportunity in Medical Quality, based in Jeddah. This role is designed for individuals seeking to gain foundational experience in healthcare quality management within a leading organization. The internship provides a practical introduction to implementing and supporting critical quality initiatives.

Role Overview

The Medical Quality Intern will be responsible for supporting the implementation of various medical quality initiatives and improvement projects. This involves assisting the quality team across several key areas, including quality assurance, continuous education, training, monitoring, and audits. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with national and international healthcare standards, enhancing quality, and supporting accreditation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support in the timely revision of Policies, Procedures, Plans, Programs, Clinical Care Pathways, Guidelines, Protocols, and Forms, ensuring they align with the latest scientific references.
• Assist in educating staff, implementing new quality management system components, and monitoring for compliance.
• Support all phases of accreditation preparation, maintenance, and outcome reporting.
• Collaborate with the team to initiate new Performance Improvement Projects across various departments.
• Participate in different types of audits focused on Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Risk Management, Clinical Governance, Patient Experience, and Personnel Files.
• Contribute to the development, education, implementation, benchmarking, and monitoring of all Quality Indicators as per established frequencies.
• Assist in taking corrective actions based on reports from compliance surveys and observations from regulatory authorities.
