About the Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Site HSE Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is situated within the Legal, Compliance & Audit department. The successful candidate will contribute to a global technology leader focused on advancing a sustainable energy future for all.

Role Purpose and Context

The Site HSE Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures at the site level. This role ensures compliance with relevant regulations and company standards, fostering a safe and compliant work environment for all operations in Jeddah. The manager will play a crucial part in maintaining operational integrity and promoting a culture of safety within the site's activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site-specific HSE management systems and programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for site personnel and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to all applicable local, national, and international HSE regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate effectively with site management, project teams, and external stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into all operational planning and execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management role, with a focus on site-based operations.
