About the ACES Manager Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking an experienced ACES Manager to join the Amazon Now team in Jeddah. This full-time position is for an individual who excels at solving complex problems and driving results for a rapidly growing customer base, with a focus on customer-centric innovation. This role is part of a new organization focused on launching business models across the MENA region, specifically redefining ultra-fast grocery operations.

Role Context and Mission

The overarching mission is to ensure Amazon is the premier destination for customers to find, discover, and purchase anything online, delivering on customer needs through innovative means. The ACES Manager will play a crucial role in enabling people to discover new possibilities and implement advancements. This position is an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a new service for Amazon customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital link between local operations and country business teams, the ACES Manager will drive innovation, test new concepts, and ensure adherence to best practices, with a strong emphasis on safety. Key focus areas include Safety, People, Quality, Customer Experience, Productivity, Costs, and Environment. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting project execution across multiple organizational functions.
• Resolving inter-departmental issues amicably during discussions.
• Holding functions accountable for their deliverables.
• Partnering with global (RoW) countries to implement and share best practices.
• Maintaining and promoting Health and Safety standards and culture within the operational area.
• Providing operational leadership through performance measurement, feedback, and development support.
• Driving continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and meet business objectives, including strategic projects with network-wide impact.
• Conducting strategic planning for the next three, six, and twelve months, with specific attention to peak season planning.
• Articulating leadership updates, including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Establishing objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience.
• Equipping the team with necessary tools for success and driving productivity and efficiency improvements through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of program or project management experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
• A minimum of 3 years of advanced experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience within Amazon RME (BB/3P).
• Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
• Experience with MS Access and SQL.
• Experience in requirement gathering and the ability to write clear, detailed requirement documents.
• Experience using Microsoft Projects software.
• Experience with material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams.

Work Schedule and Environment

This is a full-time position. The role requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays, as operational needs dictate. The position is based in Jeddah.
