About the Medical Delegate Role

Nestlé is seeking a Medical Delegate to join their team in Makkah, specifically covering the cities of Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position involves the ethical detailing of Nestlé Infant Nutrition products to medical and paramedical professionals within an assigned territory.

Core Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Medical Delegate is to communicate accurate information regarding Nestlé Infant Nutrition products, their features, benefits, and appropriate use. This communication is directed towards medical and paramedical contacts, particularly in situations where mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed. All activities must adhere to guidelines set by NME Nutrition, the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions, and local country codes. A fundamental aspect of the role is to promote Nestlé's belief that breastfeeding is best for babies and is recommended over other feeding alternatives.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Provide reliable information on infant nutrition and feeding practices to medical and paramedical contacts relevant to their professional practice.
• Participate in the organization and execution of scientific meetings focused on product knowledge, nutrition, or related topics, including sponsorship and guest lecturer invitations.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities, including new products and communication strategies, to the Medical Field Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and actions undertaken during daily activities.
• Identify and maintain relevant contact information for all contacts within the assigned territory, classifying them by interest and importance, and completing regular call cards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology. Prior experience working as a Medical Delegate is considered desirable.
