About the Role

Xpedeon is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Consultant – Engineering to lead the delivery and implementation of the Xpedeon ERP System, with a specific focus on engineering-related modules. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in construction and engineering project operations within the Middle East, combined with a strong consultative mindset. This role requires aligning client processes with Xpedeon’s standardized Engineering framework, based on industry best practices and compliant with regional construction sector requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Consultant will be responsible for a range of activities throughout the project lifecycle, including:

• Conducting client meetings to explain Xpedeon Engineering module processes, mapping existing client processes to standard Xpedeon processes, and defining agreed-upon "To-Be" processes within the project scope.
• Aligning client reporting requirements with system capabilities across modules such as Engineering & Document Management, Procurement Management, Inventory & Materials Management, Subcontracting Management, Contract Management, and Budget & Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR).
• Documenting discussions, clarifications, and responses, ensuring formal sign-off.
• Explaining required master data for system configuration, reviewing client data, and guiding conversion into standard templates.
• Defining and advising on opening data migration strategies, identifying data quality risks, and ensuring timely collection and validation of data including BOQs, budgets, contract values, and inventory masters.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating core and end users, driving system adoption, and assessing user readiness.
• Ensuring process sign-off prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating and supervising UAT activities, and guiding issue resolution.
• Ensuring readiness of master and opening data before Go-Live, validating system configuration, and supervising the Hypercare phase.
• Supervising and guiding consultants, participating in review meetings, documenting key decisions, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinating cross-functional dependencies between engineering, finance, and procurement streams.
• Ensuring ongoing quality support and handholding post Go-Live, and providing guidance on the best use of Xpedeon engineering modules.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in construction project management or engineering operations, preferably in the Middle East.
• Prior involvement in ERP implementation projects within the construction or engineering sector is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with integrated ERP systems covering Engineering, Procurement, Inventory, and Finance modules.
• Functional knowledge of end-to-end engineering module operations, procurement processes, inventory and materials management, subcontracting workflows, contract management, and budget setup and cost control.
• Strong understanding of construction project delivery and EPC/general contracting operations across the GCC region.
