Role Overview

The Hostess plays a key role in the guest dining experience at Shangri-La Jeddah. Beyond standard greeting and service duties, this position is responsible for delighting guests and ensuring memorable interactions that align with Shangri-La Standards. The role contributes to the overall success of the Food & Beverage operations by providing exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on guest satisfaction and creating positive moments during their dining experience.
• Prepare the restaurant environment for service periods.
• Coordinate effectively with the culinary team to ensure timely service for guests.
• Manage and process guest billing accurately and appropriately.
• Adhere to Shangri-La's established Food Safety Processes and Procedures.
• Provide assistance to colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the Food & Beverage outlet.
• Support supervisors in maintaining efficient meal service operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• A positive attitude and a demonstrated willingness to learn.
